The United States continues to experience outbreaks of the highly pathogenic Avian Virus also known as the ‘Bird Flu’.
Clemson’s Poultry Health Director, Julie Helm, says the particular strain of the virus is proving to be very deadly.
According to the USDA, the virus has been found in mammals such as black bears, dolphins, raccoons, and foxes.
